An accomplished surgeon, Dr. Swope’s rigorous education began at the University of Nebraska and continued as he earned degrees from the University of Louisville and University of Texas.
His world-class training extends to Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, General Surgery, and Anesthesiology. Dr. Swope is not only a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, but a diplomat for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Dayne R. Jensen
M.D., D.M.D., Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dayne R. Jensen, M.D., D.M.D. was born and raised in Utah. As a scholar athlete, he received his Bachelors of Science Degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, while playing football. He then received his first graduate degree in dentistry at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Dr. Jensen graduated Summa Cum Laude and received multiple awards during his time in dental school.
Doctor Dayne then began residency and obtained a medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, widely considered one of the finest residencies in the world in facial surgery.
He completed a total of 5 years of residency in Oral/Maxillofacial and General surgery during this time in Omaha. After completion of residency, he elected to further his training and accepted a position as fellow in Cosmetic Surgery in Oklahoma City.
During his fellowship Doctor Dayne completed over 1200 cosmetic surgery procedures.
Doctor Dayne currently serves as the surgical director for the organization Ghana make a difference where he and his team return to Africa each year to perform surgery. He is also a board member for the Utah chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis foundation.
Dr. James A. Montgomery, Jr.
DMD
Jim Montgomery, is a native of South Carolina; although, he has large family connections inmany other states throughout the South. Jim grew up with a deep-seated need to help others;but, not yet knowing exactly what avenue he wanted to take to fulfill this passion. He received ascholarship in football from Presbyterian College and thought, perhaps, teaching and coachingwould be a way he could influence young people and put them on a positive path for the future.However, the more he thought about it, the more the various needs in the medical field keptcoming to the forefront of his thoughts.
He received his B.S. degree from Presbyterian College; served five years on active duty in theU.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer, nine years in the South Carolina National Guard, and sixyears in the U.S. Navy Reserve as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
During the time serving his country, he reconnected with a well known dentist from hishometown, Dr. Ken Pennington. Dr. Ken knowing Jim’s passion for helping others talked to himabout a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. From there, the story was written and themain ingredients was already in the mix; i.e., the passion and need to help others, love andrespect for people from all walks of life, and the undergraduate degree he had already earned.Jim applied to the Medical University of South Carolina, was accepted, and received his DMD.He then served our Vets, as a General Practice Resident, at the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC. Jimreceived his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of SouthCarolina and served as Chief Resident while there.
In keeping with his need to help others, after completing his residency, Jim volunteered andwent to Bogota, Columbia with Heal the Children where the team performed Orofacial CleftSurgery on many children living in the area. He also volunteered his Oral Surgery services atSumter Rural Free Medical Clinic and Mercy Medicine Free Medical Clinic.
Jim is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, andAmerican Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is looking forward to getting toknow the people of this area, serving, and helping them to the best of his education, knowledge,and experience.
